Macau Legend Development Ltd Chief Executive David Chow Kam Fai has said São Tomé e Príncipe has invited his company to build a deep-water harbour for the country and rehabilitate its airport, Angop reports.
The Angolan state-run news agency quotes Mr Chow as saying after meeting São Tomé e Príncipe Minister of Finance, Commerce and the Blue Economy Américo Ramos: “We have received some government proposals to invest in the country and we will analyse them.”
Mr Chow said the government considered the harbour and the airport to be priorities.
He said Macau Legend was looking for business opportunities and that São Tomé e Príncipe had great potential as a place for investment in infrastructure and in the tourism, farming and health businesses.
Mr Chow also met São Tomé e Príncipe Prime Minister Patrice Trovoada, Angop says.
