State Grid Corp. of China eyes more Brazilian power lines

State Grid Corp. of China is interested in bidding for more concessions to operate power transmission lines in Brazil, Reuters reports.

The news agency quotes a written statement issued by the State Grid subsidiary in Brazil as saying the parent company would consider all 11 concessions the government will auction on December 15, which are together worth 9 billion reais (US$2.76 billion).

State Grid already operates two of the main power transmission lines in Brazil, Reuters says.
