China was again the third-biggest source of Cape Verdean imports in the third quarter of this year, Lusa reports.
The Portuguese news agency, citing provisional data released the Cape Verdean National Statistics System, says 7.8 per cent of Cape Verdean imports came from China, 0.5 percentage point less than a year earlier.
The report says Portugal was the biggest source of Cape Verdean imports.
Spain was the biggest market for Cape Verdean exports in the third quarter and Portugal was the second-biggest.
Prepared and preserved fish made up 49.2 percent of Cape Verdean exports, and fresh fish and shellfish made up 29.4 percent, Lusa says.
