Banco Sol of Angola intends to open a representative office in Macau in the next few days, Lusa reports.
The Portuguese news agency quotes Banco Sol Chairman Coutinho Nobre Miguel as saying the purpose of the office will be to enable the bank to study the Asian market and explore the opportunities it offers, so it can support Angolan micro-businesses and small and medium enterprises.
Another Angolan bank, Banco BIC Angola, said recently it would ask next month for permission to establish a foothold in Macau.
