China National Complete Plant Import and Export Corp. Ltd. will help build a new hotel in a tourism development area in Santa Monica, A Semana reports.
The newspaper says a contract was signed with Bucan Construções e Imobiliária and Cabo Verde Management to start work on phase one of the project, worth US$129.7 million in total.
The hotel will be managed by Spanish group Barceló Hotels & Resorts, have 1,150 rooms and be built in two phases, the report says. Work on phase one should begin in April and last for two years.
