Portuguese retailer eNeNe aims to open shop in China

The boss of eNeNe says the Portuguese retailer of luxuries intends to open a shop in China by 2021, Hipersuper reports.

The Portuguese monthly newspaper quotes eNeNe Chief Executive Carlos Sereno as saying his company aims to open its first shop in China in Shanghai and its second in Macao.

The report says the retailer invested €1.8 million (US$2.1 million) in its first eNeNe shop, located in Paris, which opened in February and sells gadgets, music, jewellery, fashions and food made in Portugal.

“Customers coming from China, the Middle East and the American continent are delighted with the brands we represent,” Mr Sereno said.

The retailer also runs an online shop, Hipersuper says.
