China was considered the 84th easiest country to do business in, the report showed.

According to the World Bank Group, the report this year measured regulations on 10 “areas of the life of a business”, namely “starting a business, dealing with construction permits, getting electricity, registering property, getting credit, protecting minority investors, paying taxes, trading across borders, enforcing contracts and resolving insolvency”.

The “Doing Business” report is published annually. It also measures labour market regulation, but this area was not included in this year’s ranking.
