Use bilingual people in Macao for e-commerce, Govt urges entrepreneurs

The Macao Government and the Sino-Portuguese E-Commerce Chamber are encouraging young entrepreneurs to employ people in Macao that are bilingual in Portuguese and Chinese for the purpose of international e-commerce, Jornal Tribuna de Macau reports.

The newspaper quotes Sino-Portuguese E-Commerce Chamber Executive Vice-president Johnny Ma as saying Macao has sufficient bilingual people and logistical facilities for e-commerce enterprises to deal in products from the Portuguese-speaking Countries.

More than 100 people attended a talk yesterday on cross-border e-commerce, which was arranged by Macao Economic Services and the Sino-Portuguese E-Commerce Chamber, the report says.
