Chinese exhibitors abound at household goods fair in Brazil

Over 50 Chinese companies are showing off their wares at a three-day exhibition of household goods that kicked off on Wednesday in the Brazilian city of São Paulo, the China News Service (CNS) reports.

The Chinese state-run news agency says the Chinese exhibitors represent mainly companies in the Chinese provinces of Guangdong, Zhejiang, Henan, Jiangsu, Shandong and Shanxi.

The report says the companies are showing off products for use in kitchens or offices, products for decorating, electronics, fitness equipment, textiles and goods suitable for giving as gifts.

The exhibition is an occasion for representatives of Chinese and Brazilian companies to get together and do business, so increasing trade between China and Latin America, CNS quotes China-Brazil Investment Development and Trade Centre Deputy General Manager Pan Faming as saying.
