A business forum will be held in March in Menongue, capital of the Angolan province of Cuando Cubango, the Jornal de Angola reports.
The Angolan newspaper quotes Chinese Ambassador Cui Aimin, who reportedly said Chinese and Angolan businesspeople would attend the forum.
Mr Cui said the forum was to show Chinese businesspeople the potential of the province as a destination for investment and to assist in the region’s development.
The newspaper says agriculture, infrastructure, hospitality and tourism are among the fields that show the greatest promise for Chinese investors.
