The University of Macau will launch a Master of Arts in Second Language Acquisition in the 2017-18 academic year, the university announced this week.
The university’s announcement says its programme will appeal to instructors of Chinese, Portuguese and English as a second language.
The course will “meet local demand for language professionals in a multilingual environment” and “support the Macao SAR Government’s plan to establish a training centre for bilingual language professionals in Macao”.
The programme will have a stream that offers a teaching qualification and one without.
