Closer Sino-Angolan co-operation on the environment sought

The governments of China and Angola intend to strengthen their ties in the field of preserving the environment, Angop reports.

The Angolan news agency says Chinese Ambassador to Angola Cui Aimin and Angolan Minister of the Environment Paula Francisco agreed when they met last week to increase co-operation in environmental matters.

The report says they discussed the protection of wild fauna and flora, education about preserving the environment, and proper disposal of rubbish.

A seminar will be arranged to teach Chinese living in Angola about Angolan rules on the environment, Angop says.
