The Angolan government has awarded Zhongru Construction Engineering Group Co. Ltd of China a contract worth US$830 million to build housing for teachers in Angola, Jornal de Chinês reports.
The Angolan Chinese-language newspaper says the company will build 30,000 homes in 18 provinces of Angola, 10,000 of them in the province of Luanda.
The housing will be built in two phases, the first phase beginning in September, Jornal de Chinês says.
