Sinohydro helps train young adults in São Tomé e Príncipe

State-owned Sinohydro Corp. of China and the government of São Tomé e Príncipe have begun a programme of vocational training for 200 citizens of São Tomé e Príncipe, STP-Press reports.

The São Tomé e Príncipe news agency says programme of training for workers in the fields of engineering, construction and transport will last three or four months.

The report says some of the trainees may later be employed by Sinohydro.

The training is meant to improve the working skills of young adults, STP-Press quotes Chinese Ambassador of China to São Tomé e Príncipe Wang Wei as saying at the ceremonial start of the programme.
