The agricultural and animal husbandry vocational training college in the eastern Chinese province of Jiangsu hopes to reach an agreement to co-operate with the agricultural sciences faculty of the José Eduardo dos Santos University in the central Angolan city of Huambo, Angop reports.
The Angolan news agency quotes the chairman of the college council, Ji Wenlin, as saying the purpose of the agreement would be to train Angolans in agricultural and pastoral techniques, and to give technical support to downstream enterprises.
Experts from Jiangsu are already helping with one agricultural project in the vicinity of Huambo, and 9 Angolan students are attending the Jiangsu college, Angop says.
