Chinese company China Railway Rolling Stock Corporation (CRRC) is willing to increase its business in Mozambique, the newspaper Notícias reported this week.
So said Chen Dayang, a member of CRRC’s management team in charge of the firm’s international businesses.
“Mozambique is a good business partner with which we have four contracts regarding the supply of equipment and management of infrastructure,” he said, as quoted by the Mozambican newspaper.
The President of Mozambique, Filipe Nyusi, visited China in May. According to Mr Chen, the Mozambican head of state said then that his country would like to continue to work with CRRC.
The Chinese company currently exports equipment to 102 countries, including Mozambique, the media outlet added.
