Business chamber aims to strengthen China-Cape Verde co-operation

A business meeting to be held this month in Guinea Bissau will be an ideal platform to strengthen co-operation between Chinese and Cape Verdean enterprises, said Cape Verde’s Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services of Sotavento.

José Luis Neves, Secretary-General of the chamber, said – as quoted by state-run broadcaster Radiotelevisão of Cape Verde and Inforpress – Cape Verde companies should value the business opportunities China could offer.

Although some Chinese companies and entrepreneurs already had made investments in the archipelago, there could still be room for further development for business co-operation between the two nations, he remarked.

The meeting of entrepreneurs from China, Portuguese-speaking Countries and Macao will take place in Bissau, capital of Guinea Bissau, from April 9 to 11.
