AliExpress among favourite e-commerce websites in Brazil

AliExpress, owned by Alibaba Group of China, is now among the three e-commerce websites most favoured by Brazilians, the People’s Daily reports.

The Chinese newspaper says the number of registered members of AliExpress in Brazil was nearly 10 million at the end of last year, 68 percent more than a year earlier, making up about one-third of all members of AliExpress in Latin America.

The report says one reason AliExpress is successful in Brazil is that Brazilians like to use it to buy Chinese products of good quality for low prices.

Brazilians use AliExpress mainly to buy clothes, household goods, beauty products, baby products and forms of entertainment, the People’s Daily says.
