Angola remains the mainland’s main oil supplier for month of September

Angola was the mainland’s biggest supplier of crude oil for the second consecutive month last month, Reuters reports.

The news agency, citing data from the Chinese General Administration of Customs, says China imported 4.19 million tonnes of Angolan crude in September, 45.8 percent more than a year earlier.

The report says Chinese demand for Angolan oil will increase this month.

In the first nine months of this year Angola was China’s third-biggest supplier of crude, having supplied 34.39 million tonnes, 17.7 percent more than in the corresponding period last year.
