Angola third largest crude oil exporter to China in June

Angola was ranked third during June as a crude oil supplier to China, according to the latest monthly oil market report from the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC).

Angola provided 10 percent of China’s crude oil imports that month.

China’s crude oil imports from Angola in June increased by 175,000 barrels per day – or 24 percent – from the previous month, according to OPEC.

China imported in June an average of 7.5 million barrels of crude oil per day, a 14-percent increase judged year-on-year, OPEC said in its report.

Saudi Arabia and Russia were China’s two largest oil suppliers in June, accounting for 18 percent and 13 percent respectively of its imports.
