Angola’s Sogespro Engenharia e Consultoria Lda and Guangxi Liuzhou Iron and Steel Group Co. Ltd., will partner to produce sugar, alcohol, energy and steel, Jornal de Angola reports.
The newspaper quotes Sogespro director José Dantas as saying the deal will create 600 jobs and accelerate development in Lunda Sul province.
These types of agreements are important to boost employment and economic diversification, says António Henriques da Silva, the President of Angola’s Agency for Investment and Export Promotion.
