Angola’s Interior Minister tours Mainland, discusses co-operation on public safety

Angola’s Interior Minister Ângelo Veiga Tavares is in Mainland China on an official tour to enhance bilateral co-operation in public safety, Angop reports.

The Angolan news agency reports the three-day visit began yesterday and included meeting Meng Hongwei, the Vice-Minister of Public Security.

That discussion included additional co-operation between police forces, anti-terrorism measures, anti-money laundering measures, human trafficking and cybercrime reduction.

Mainland officials offered to enhance the technical skills of Angolan safety forces.
