Angola’s non-oil revenue grows 10 percent annually since 2010

Angola’s revenues from outside the oil sector have grown by 10 percent annually since 2010, the O País newspaper reports.

The report quotes said Valentim Manuel, the Chairman of Board of Directors of the General Tax Administration, as saying non-oil revenue had grown robustly and had “a considerable weight” in the country’s economy.

The country’s non-oil revenue has grown from 689 billion kwanzas (US$4.16 billion) in 2010 to 1.2 billion kwanzas last year. Next year’s target for non-oil revenue is 1.7 trillion kwanzas.
