Brazilian football administrator sees potential for co-operation with China

A Brazilian football administrator has said he sees great potential for Sino-Brazilian co-operation in developing the game in China, CNC reports.

The government-run television news network quotes Brazilian Football Confederation Director of international affairs Vicente Cândido as saying the Chinese football authorities have a strategy for developing the game in schools in the Mainland.

“Brazil can co-operate a lot with China,” Mr Cândido told the broadcaster.

The report also quotes the president of Brazilian football club Sociedade Esportiva Palmeiras, Mauricio Galiotte, as saying Brazil has a wealth of footballing talent, and that more and more Brazilian footballers are playing abroad including in the Mainland.
