Chinese Ambassador to Cabo Verde Du Xiaocong and Cabo Verde Prime Minister Ulisses Correia e Silva have meet to discuss the Forum on China-Africa Co-operation summit meeting, to be held in Beijing next month, the Chinese Embassy in Praia says.
The embassy issued a written statement quoting Mr Correia e Silva as saying in the meeting that he is looking forward to visiting China next month and having bilateral talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
The prime minister expressed hope that his visit will start a new era of Sino-Cabo Verde friendship and co-operation, the Chinese Embassy in Praia says.
