China again the main buyer of Angolan oil exports in Q1

Official data indicate that China bought 55.87 percent of the oil exported by Angola in the first quarter of this year, Lusa reports.

The Portuguese news agency, citing figures unveiled by the Angolan Ministry of Mining and Oil Resources on Tuesday, says India bought 15.7 percent and Spain 7.54 percent.

The figures indicate that Angolan state-owned oil company Sonangol and its associates exported 119.79 million barrels of oil in the first quarter, making revenue of US$7.55 billion.

Sonangol alone exported 45 million barrels, making revenue of US$2.8 billion, Lusa says.
