China, Angola to boost parliamentary links: Chinese Ambassador

China is willing to strengthen co-operation with Angola in relation to parliamentary ties, industry, agriculture, public health and training of human resources; in order to contribute further to the development of the African nation, said China’s Ambassador to Angola, Cui Aimin.

Mr Cui was speaking on Thursday to the press, after a meeting with the President of Angola’s National Assembly, Fernando dos Santos.

The Ambassador explained — as quoted by Angolan news agency Angop — that, in the meeting, the two men addressed issues related to co-operation between their national parliaments, as well as to a need continuously to enhance bilateral co-operation in other fields.

“We are satisfied with the level of co-operation the two countries have reached so far, and we are fully confident in continuously strengthening [that co-operation],” Mr Cui said.
