China buys 75 pct of its soybean imports from Brazil in July  

Brazil was the source of three-quarters of Chinese imports of soybeans last month, O Globo reports.

The Brazilian newspaper says official data indicate that China imported 10.08 million tonnes of soybeans last month, 7.63 million tonnes of it from Brazil.

The report says imports from Brazil were over 30 percent greater than a year earlier.

In the first seven months of this year China imported 30.83 million tonnes of soybeans from Brazil, 14.2 percent more than in the equivalent period last year. China imported 54.88 million tonnes from all sources in the first seven months, O Globo says.
