The Chinese government will give Angola 100 million yuan (about US$14.75 million) in aid for agricultural projects, Lusa reports, citing a decree issued by Angolan President João Lourenço.
The Portuguese news agency says the aid is provided for by agreements on Sino-Angolan co-operation reached when Mr Lourenço visited China last October.
The report says Angola now owes China US$23 billion, China having arranged last year to lend Angola another US$2 billion.
The Chinese government has been lending to Angola through Chinese state-owned banks since 2002, Lusa says.
