The Mozambique Scholarship Institute says the Chinese authorities will offer Mozambican undergraduates and postgraduate students 41 scholarships to study in China in the coming academic year, Macauhub reports.
The news website quotes the institute as saying 36 scholarships will be for undergraduates specialising in agronomy, medicine, engineering, biochemistry, tourism, visual arts, economics, or international trade. Five scholarships will be for postgraduate students pursuing master’s degrees in agronomy and mining, oil and gas, or hydraulic and industrial engineering.
The report says candidates for postgraduate scholarships must excel in speaking and writing Chinese or English or both.
The deadline for applications is March 5, the Institute says.
