Chinese Ambassador to Angola Gong Tao has said his country is amenable to expansion of its vocational training of Angolans and to more exchanges between Chinese and Angolan training institutions, the Chinese Embassy in Luanda says.
The embassy issued a written statement quoting Mr Gong as saying so this week when he visited the Angolan National School of Administration and Public Policy, and two vocational training centres, all in the province of Luanda.
Mr Gong said workers must be trained to improve the labour force in Angola, so the young there can get jobs and the country can industrialise.
The Angolan government considers it important to train administrators, and hopes to learn from China about vocational training, the Chinese Embassy in Luanda quotes Angolan Minister of Public Administration, Labour and Social Security Jesus Maiato as saying.
