The Chinese Ambassador to Angola, Cui Aimin, met on Wednesday with the Angolan President, José Eduardo dos Santos, to discuss the promotion of exchanges and the state of bilateral co-operation, the Chinese Embassy said in a statement.
The two officials agreed both sides should further practical co-operation in several fields, namely investment, finance and industry, the statement said.
The two nations should also strengthen co-ordination, and support each other in international and regional affairs, it noted.
“[Both sides] should enhance the [China-Angola] strategic partnership, which will be beneficial to the people of the two nations,” the statement added.
