Super Bock Group Chief Executive Rui Lopes Ferreira says Chinese Ambassador to Portugal Cai Run visited the Super Bock brewery last weekend, Shopping Spirit News reports.
The news website, citing a written statement issued by the Portuguese brewer, quotes Mr Lopes Ferreira as saying the ambassador’s visit was an opportunity to show off how Super Bock Group makes its beer, which sells well abroad.
The chief executive said China was one of the main export markets for Super Bock beer.
Super Bock beer accounts for about 4 percent of the value of Portuguese exports to China, Shopping Spirit News says.
