Chinese enterprises investing in Brazil have reaffirmed their commitment to the country in the long term, Xinhua reports.
The Chinese government-run news agency says representatives of Chinese companies did so during the Brazil 2018 Investment Forum, held in São Paulo.
The report says Brazilian and Chinese businesspeople attending the forum discussed ways to increase co-operation as Chinese investment in Brazil grows rapidly.
Brazilian and Chinese enterprises should reduce their costs by transacting their business in the Brazilian and Chinese currencies instead of the US dollar, Xinhua quotes the president of the South American subsidiary of China Communications Construction Co. Ltd, Chang Yunbo, as saying.
