China Railway 20 Bureau Group Corp. has given five days of training in farming techniques to 29 Mozambicans from the province of Gaza, Sina News reports.
The Chinese website says Nanjing Agricultural University and the Confucius Institute of Eduardo Mondlane University contributed to the training programme.
The report says the programme was the first of its kind.
The trainees were given theoretical and practical instruction in growing rice, Sina News says.
