Chinese Ambassador to Brazil Li Jinzhang will leave Brasilia soon after nearly seven years in his post, Sina News reports.
The Chinese website says the Chinese Embassy in Brasilia announced this week that the Brazilian Foreign Ministry bade farewell to Mr Li in a ceremony last month.
The report quotes the embassy as saying Brazilian Foreign Minister Aloysio Nunes thanked Mr Li in a meeting this week for his contribution to Sino-Brazilian relations.
The Sina News report says nothing about who will succeed Mr Li.
