Chinese hydrogen-fuelled vehicles to be made, sold in Brazil

Grove Hydrogen Automotive Co. Ltd, a Chinese maker of hydrogen-fuelled motor vehicles, and the government of the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais have stuck a deal for the production and distribution of such vehicles in Brazil, Grove Hydrogen Automotive has announced.

A written announcement quotes Grove Hydrogen Automotive Chief Executive and founder Hao Yiguo as saying: “Grove is focused on establishing sustainable mobility worldwide, and in Minas Gerais we have the partner and the location to create green cars, as we are currently doing in China.”

Representatives of Grove Hydrogen Automotive and the government of Minas Gerais signed the deal at the Shanghai Auto Show.

The company says one of its vehicles unveiled at the Shanghai Auto Show can run for 1,000 km on one tank of hydrogen, and can be refuelled in a few minutes.

The deal enhances Sino-Brazilian co-operation, the Grove Hydrogen Automotive statement quotes Minas Gerais Superintendent for Investments Attraction and Foreign Trade Eduardo Brito as saying.
