Consulting firm Dealogic says the value of Chinese investment in Brazil was over US$10.84 billion in the first 10 months of this year, Folha de S. Paulo reports.

The Brazilian newspaper, citing Dealogic data, says Chinese companies made 17 corporate acquisitions in Brazil in the first 10 months, having made six in the equivalent period last year.

The report says at least 10 big Chinese companies are close to making new investments in Brazil.

Analysts expect smaller Chinese investments in Brazilian healthcare, logistics, agribusiness and telecommunications, Folha de S. Paulo says.
