The China Pharmaceutical University says a delegation sent by the University of Zambeze in Mozambique visited its campus in the eastern Chinese city of Nanjing this week to foster inter-university mutual understanding and co-operation.
A written statement issued by the hosts quotes China Pharmaceutical University Vice-president Kong Lingyi as telling University of Zambeze Rector Nobre Roque dos Santos and the other guests that he hopes the universities will co-operate in conducting academic research and training teachers, and arrange student exchanges.
The statement quotes Mr dos Santos as saying his university hopes to send outstanding teachers and students on exchanges with China Pharmaceutical University as soon as possible.
The hosts and guests reached an initial agreement on co-operation, the China Pharmaceutical University says.
