Closer Sino-Portuguese collaboration in green vehicles urged

Portuguese Ambassador to China José Augusto Duarte has said China and Portugal could collaborate more closely in the electric vehicle industry, Xinhua reports.

The Chinese government-run news agency quotes Mr Duarte as saying in an interview that China is an important trading partner of Portugal, and that his country has the potential to trade more and better goods with China.

He said Portugal paid more attention to the Chinese market than any other because of the huge spending power of Chinese consumers.

Great changes in China over the past 70 years have been good for the world at large, Xinhua quotes the ambassador as saying.
