Chinese company completed the construction of a Angola marine passenger terminal

A new marine passenger station at Angola’s Cabinda Port, built by China Gezhouba Group Corporation, was completed last week.

During the opening ceremony, the Angola’s President João Lourenço said that the port project will effectively boost local employment as well as economic and social development, playing a vital role in the development of Cabinda.

Composed by the construction of a marine passenger station and a freight terminal, the port project was constructed since November 2016, and it is expected to be completed at the end of this year.

The port project aims to meet the local demand for import and export of goods and passenger transportation, as well as stimulate tourism in order to provide employment opportunities and boost the local economy.
