Envoy says southern Angola interests Chinese investors

Chinese Ambassador to Angola Cui Aimin has said Chinese enterprises are interested in investing in tourism and agriculture in the southern Angolan province of Huila, Angop reports.

The Angolan news agency says the ambassador said so during a visit to the province, where he met Governor of Huila Joao Marcelino Tyipinge.

The report quotes Mr Cui as saying he went to Huila to learn about economic conditions there.

Angop quotes Mr Tyipinge as saying that during Mr Cui mentioned that China is open to investments in agriculture, tourism and manufacturing.
