Executives of four big Chinese companies, in a meeting with Brazilian President Michel Temer, have voiced willingness to increase the amount their companies invest in Brazil, Agência Brasil reports.
The Brazilian news agency quotes Mr Temer as saying so in Beijing after he met executives of State Grid Corp. of China, China Three Gorges Corp., Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd and HNA Group Co. Ltd.
The president said the companies showed “extraordinary confidence in our country” in expressing willingness to invest in energy and mining in Brazil.
While in China Mr Temer is due to meet Chinese President Xi Jinping and Chinese Premier Li Keqiang, and to take part in a meeting of the heads of government of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa, Agência Brasil says.
