The Angolan government has set up a committee of nine ministers to make preparations for a Sino-Angolan forum on investment, Lusa reports.
The Portuguese news agency says the Angola-China Investment Forum is due to be held this year in the Angolan capital, Luanda.
The report quotes an Angolan government document as saying the forum will “strengthen the development of synergies for business partnerships and investments between businesspeople from the two countries”.
The Chinese Embassy in Luanda says dozens of Chinese companies have registered to take part in the event, Lusa reports.
