International network of Portuguese restaurants to cover China

Taste Portugal, an international network of Portuguese restaurants, will be expanded to cover China in general and Macao in particular, Portuguese travel news website PressTur reports.

Separately, Ponto Final reports that the Portuguese hospitality industry association behind Taste Portugal, AHRESP, is in touch with the Macau Tourism Promotion and Information Center in Portugal and the Chinese Embassy in Lisbon.

The Macao newspaper says the association intends to find all Portuguese restaurants in Macao and persuade them to join Taste Portugal.

The association will then send an inspector to each restaurant to check on the menu and the food served, Ponto Final says.
