Mozambique’s Prime Minister Carlos Agostinho do Rosário expects the investment in extraction industries to be greater this year than last, Notícias reports.
The Mozambican newspaper says Mr do Rosário bases his expectation on the assumption that Coral Sul in Cabo Delgado will get a floating platform for processing natural gas.
The report also quotes Mr do Rosário as saying exploration contracts to be awarded in due course would allow more foreign companies with sufficient money and know-how to be part of his country’s gas industry.
