The Angolan legislature will vote on January 23 on the Sino-Angolan agreement on double taxation and on countering fraud and tax evasion, Angop reports, citing the government as its source.
The Angolan state-run news agency says the agreement was among those signed when Angolan President João Lourenço visited China last October. During his visit the China Development Bank agreed to lend Angola up to US$2 billion to pay for new infrastructure.
The report says lawmakers will also vote on January 23 on legislation meant to regulate immigration to Angola by keeping illegal immigrants out and treating legal immigrants fairly.
