The Macao University of Science and Technology says its own researchers prepared the Portugal Investment Environment Report published last week by Chinese publisher Economic Science Press.
The university issued a written statement saying the report is the first in a series on the investment environments in the Portuguese-speaking Countries.
The report looks at industrial and investment conditions in Portugal, commercial, financial and consumer markets there, Sino-Portuguese relations and – of particular concern to investors there – labour policy and intellectual property protection.
The university says it has compiled a database, accessible at www.plpidb.com, of the results of its research on the Portuguese-speaking Countries, so Macao can better play its role as a place where China and the lusophone world can conduct business.
