The Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) has announced that during the Lisbon Travel Market 2019 travel fair it will be advertising the city as a place to visit.
The MGTO issued a written statement saying it will advertise the attractions of Macao next week in the Portuguese cities of Lisbon and Porto.
The statement says the “Experience Macao – Portugal” campaign marks the 20th anniversary of the founding of the Macao Special Administrative Region.
On Monday, in the Praça do Comércio, a major square in Lisbon, the office will put on a video mapping show entitled “Macao, a Legendary Journey”, which will be about the history of Macao, ancient and modern, and its links with Portugal.
Other promotional events include an exhibition of works by over 30 Macao artists, a performance by four Macao street dance groups, and a demonstration on television of Macanese cookery, the MGTO says.
