Gaming services company Macau Legend Development Ltd. intends to invest more in Cape Verde in banking, civil aviation and agricultural technology, Jornal Tribuna de Macau reports.
The newspaper says Macau Legend Development Co-chairman David Chow and other representatives of the company had a meeting with Cape Verde Prime Minister Ulisses Correia e Silva recently.
The report quotes unidentified sources in Macau Legend Development as saying the company means to set up a bank and an airline in Cape Verde. The sources said the airline would increase the number of services connecting Cape Verde with the rest of West Africa and with Europe.
Mr Chow reportedly expressed his willingness to establish a laboratory to introduce Chinese agricultural technology to Cape Verde.
Mr Silva expressed support for the Macau Legend Development plans, Jornal Tribuna de Macau says.
